Clarion Hotels Ireland (4*) was established in 2001. The largest Irish owned Hotel company in Ireland in key locations - Dublin, Sligo Limerick and Cork with 1,512 bedrooms and Carton House in Maynooth Co Kildare with 165 bedrooms, 18 of which are in the historic Carton House. The 4* Clarion Hotels include Clarion Hotel Dublin IFSC - the flagship, Clarion Hotel Limerick on Steamboat Quay, the tallest Hotel in Ireland and Clarion Suites, Ireland’s first all suite hotel on the Ennis Road. Further south Clarion Hotel Cork sits proud over The River Lee in the City Quarter, moving to Dublin we have Clarion Hotel & Suites in Liffey Valley and Clarion Hotel at Dublin Airport and finally northwest to Sligo where the Elizabethan façade is home to the Clarion Hotel in Sligo. ’We are currently exploring opportunities in Belfast and UK locations’ commented Brendan Curtis - Chief Executive Officer for Choice Hotels in Ireland. Recently, 11 Hotels of the Quality and Comfort Brands were sold to Trinity Venture Capital.

Brendan Curtis - Chief Executive Officer - Choice Hotels Ireland.

As CEO, Brendan is responsible for all operational elements of the business within Choice Hotels Ireland. Formally Chief Operating Office and Group Operations Director for the Clarion brand, Brendan has been with the company for over seven years. In that time he has established the Clarion brand as the leading 4 star hotel group in the country. Prior to joining Choice Hotels, Brendan worked with Forte Hotels both in the management of individual properties in Ireland and UK and in a group role in the UK, hence bringing extensive experience and leadership to the team.

Aoife Henderson - Group Director of Marketing & Sales. With 31 years in the hospitality sector, Aoife has overall responsibility for the brand look, ensuring that we maintain our innovative and up-to-date concept while securing market share.

David Murphy - Chief Financial Officer
David oversees all financial functions for our hotels, while also assessing and negotiating new projects. Prior to joining Clarion, David held several Financial Controller positions with Jurys Doyle Hotels.

James Tynan – Clarion Group Operations Director
James is responsible for all the operational elements of the Clarion Brand.
He has more than 20 years of experience in international hotel management and has worked for the Sheraton, Meridien and O’Donoghue Ring Hotels.

Stuart Gunning - Clarion Group Finance Director
Stuart is responsible for the finance of the Clarion brand.
He joined the Clarion Group in September 2005 from Jurys Doyle Hotel Group where he had been Financial Controller of the Burlington Hotel and also spent time in London as Financial Controller of the Jurys Clifton Ford Hotel. Since joining Clarion, Stuart has taken on the role of Regional Financial Controller for Dublin, comprising the Morrison, Dublin Airport, IFSC and Liffey Valley properties.

Debbie Gallagher – Personal Assistant to CEO
Debbie is PA to Brendan Curtis and also provides some support to the Clarion Group Office and to Hotel Management and their teams. Debbie is a DCU graduate and has worked previously with Clarion Hotels in a management capacity.

Neil Coates - Group IT Manager
Neil has worked with Forte Hotels and Choice Hotels Ireland in various management positions. In his current role he is responsible for the development of our IT strategy for the future while ensuring the latest technological upgrades in the existing hotels.

Tara O’Neill - Group Director of Human Resources
Tara’s role involves the implementation of policies and practices helping to ensure Clarion remains a preferred employer while assisting employees reach their full potential. Previous experience includes HR positions with Radisson Seven Seas
